Prophet Kumchacha Urges Asamoah Gyan to Apologize for Kantamanto Fire Comments.

Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha, has called on former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan to retract and apologize for his recent comments regarding the Kantamanto market fire outbreak. According to the controversial prophet, Gyan’s remarks lack justification and have the potential to inflame tensions among Ghanaians, especially those directly affected by the tragedy.

In a social media post that sparked widespread reactions, Gyan suggested that the recent fire at Kantamanto might have been politically motivated. He alleged that it could have been caused by one of Ghana’s two major political parties — the New Patriotic Party (NPP) or the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Gyan went further to claim that the NDC might have orchestrated the fire as a strategy to implement new projects in the area without directly displacing the traders.

These comments, however, have not sat well with Prophet Kumchacha, who believes that such allegations could aggravate the pain of the victims and worsen political divisions in the country. Speaking to the media, Kumchacha stressed that it is irresponsible to make such unsubstantiated claims, especially when investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.

“The victims of the Kantamanto fire outbreak have already suffered great losses, and making baseless political allegations only adds to their pain. Asamoah Gyan should apologize to the affected traders and all Ghanaians for these remarks,” Kumchacha said.

The devastating fire at Kantamanto has left hundreds of traders grappling with the loss of their shops and livelihoods. The incident has reignited debates about the lack of adequate safety measures in Ghana’s markets and the need for effective fire prevention strategies.

While Asamoah Gyan has not responded to Prophet Kumchacha’s comments, his initial post has drawn mixed reactions from the public. Some have supported his call for transparency, while others believe it is inappropriate to politicize the tragic event without evidence.

In the wake of this controversy, many Ghanaians are urging calm and patience as authorities work to determine the true cause of the fire. Leaders and public figures have also been reminded to prioritize unity and avoid making statements that could sow discord.

The Kantamanto fire has once again highlighted the urgent need for proactive measures to prevent such disasters and protect the livelihoods of traders who rely on these markets for their survival. As the nation waits for answers, calls for sensitivity and responsibility in public discourse remain paramount.
