Ghanaian music sensation Black Sherif is using his rising international fame to spotlight emerging talents from his home country. During a recent street interview in New York City with popular content creator Isaac Likes, the “Kwaku the Traveller hitmaker was asked to name Ghanaian acts the world should pay attention to — and he delivered with a heartfelt shoutout list.

Shout outs to Arathejay, Gonaboy, Bosom P-Yung, Cloud9, Black Sherif said with conviction, standing tall as an ambassador for Ghana’s next wave of music stars. Each name he mentioned represents a unique style and growing fanbase in Ghana’s vibrant music scene.

When asked about Ghanaian-American singer Moliy, Black Sherif didn’t hesitate to give her flowers, calling her record the biggest of the year. “The biggest song of this 2025. Shouts to Moliy as well,” he added, nodding to her chart-dominating single Shake It To the Max (Fly).

Moliy’s hit track, a high-energy Afro-fusion anthem, has gone viral globally and features powerhouse artists like Skillibeng, Shenseea, and Silent Addy. The accompanying music video, brimming with vibrant visuals and star power, has racked up millions of views and cemented her place as a rising force in international music.

This moment of support from Black Sherif comes as he basks in the success of his second studio album, Iron Boy, released on April 3, 2025.
