Rose Gold Opens Up About Relationship With Nana Prempeh: I Wasn’t Sure He Was Married

Ghanaian socialite and entrepreneur, Rose Gold has finally broken her silence on longstanding rumors surrounding her romantic relationship with businessman Nana Prempeh. In a candid interview on The Delay Show, the founder of Rose Gold Luxury Boutique revealed that when their relationship began, she wasn’t certain whether he was married.

According to Rose Gold, she met Nana Prempeh at the age of 16 while working at her mother’s shop in Tafo. At the time, she said he was a frequent visitor but later traveled abroad. It wasn’t until over a year later when he returned that the two began a romantic relationship—by which time she was 17 and he was in his 30s.

I wasn’t sure if he had a wife or not. I only knew he wasn’t wearing a ring she told Delay. Even if he had told me he wasn’t married, I wouldn’t have believed him, so I didn’t bother to ask.

Rose Gold disclosed that about a year into the relationship she discovered that Nana Prempeh was married. She informed her mother whose advice was to avoid any direct conflict with the other woman. She advised me not to cross the path of the other woman. It’s not like she supported it, but I didn’t give her a reason to be worried, she said.

Delay further asked Rose Gold how she would respond if her own daughter found herself in a similar situation in the future. She replied, “I’ll advise her the same way my mother advised me. I’ll weigh her level of understanding and the man’s intentions.”

Touching on recent reports suggesting that Nana Prempeh had a child with another woman after the death of his wife, Rose Gold said she had no knowledge of such claims. I haven’t seen that. I haven’t heard it. He hasn’t told me,”She responded.

Despite the speculation and scrutiny surrounding her love life, Rose Gold maintained her composure and confidence. “If it’s true, I will still be Rose Gold,” she said. “When the time is right, what will happen will happen.”
