Popular Businesswoman Comfort Frimpong Tragically Murdered in Her Home at Mallam

A tragic incident occurred on the night of Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Mallam specifically in a neighborhood known as Clinic located within the Mallam-Gbawe district in Accra.
Madam Comfort Frimpong a well-known and highly respected businesswoman operating under the business name Joscom was found brutally stabbed in her residence at around 10:30 PM. She was involved in several businesses including a supermarket, mobile money services, yam distribution, farming, and beauty care.
In an interview with mrwoode.com, Mr  Emmanuel Ewool the in-law of Madam Comfort said he and his wife were working in one of their shops close to Madam Comfort’s residence. After closing the shop for the day, they visited Madam Comfort to inform her that they were heading home.
While on their way, his wife received a distressing phone call from her sister who lives in the same house with Madam Comfort and also works in one of their beauty shops. She informed them that upon arriving home from work she discovered bloodstains all over the room. Minutes later another call followed. This time she revealed that someone had stabbed Madam Comfort and they were rushing her to the Akaway Government Hospital at McCarthy Junction.
Emmanuel and his wife quickly returned and rushed to the hospital only to be informed by doctors that Madam Comfort had unfortunately passed away due to the injuries sustained.
The family immediately reported the case to the Mallam Lafa Police Station at approximately 12:00 AM. On the morning of Wednesday, September 24, 2025, a team of crime scene investigators from the Ghana Police Headquarters along with officers from the Lafa Police Station visited the crime scene to begin investigations.
The police have assured the family and the public that they are taking the matter seriously and are working tirelessly to apprehend the suspect and ensure justice is served through the courts.
The sudden death of Madam Comfort has shocked the entire Mallam community especially those who benefited from her business ventures and philanthropic activities.
