One-Week Celebration of Hon. Daniel Kwasi Nsaful Eshun Scheduled for June 12, 2025 at Mankesim
The one-week celebration in honour of the late Honourable Daniel Kwasi Nsaful Eshun popularly known as Sey Boy has been scheduled for Thursday, 12th June 2025, at 9:00 a.m. The event will take place at the Anaafo Durban Ground in Mankesim in the Central Region of Ghana.
According to information gathered by mrwoode.com, Hon. Nsaful Eshun was a highly respected figure in the Ekumfi District and served his community in numerous capacities throughout his lifetime.
He was the former Assembly Member for Ekumfi Abaka, Asokwa and Potwaben Electoral Area, a position he held from 2010 to 2014. His leadership and service in local governance left a lasting impact on residents of the area.
Hon. Nsaful Eshun also held the position of Polling Station Chairman for Ekumfi Abaka under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for an impressive 25 years from 2000 to 2025, making him one of the longest-serving polling station executives in the Central region.
In addition to his political service he was recognized for his contributions to agriculture. He was awarded Best Farmer for the Ekumfi District in 2019 a testament to his commitment to farming and food security in the area.
Beyond politics and farming, Sey Boy devoted himself to health and development initiatives. He served as the longest community volunteer for the Polio Immunization Campaign in Ekumfi Abaka under the Ghana Health Service. He also volunteered with the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) from 1990 to 2002 supporting development programs in the district.
Hon. Daniel Nsaful Eshun was the first son of the late Opayin Kwaku Esoun and Obapayin Ekua Kuasiwa. He is remembered not only for his public service but also for his dedication to community development, volunteerism and grassroots mobilization.
The upcoming one week celebration is expected to attract family members, friends, political figures and community members who knew and respected him. It will be a moment of reflection and tribute to a man who gave his all to his people.
