MC Yaa Yeboah Urges Hajia4Reall to Share Her Fraud Experience to Educate Ghanaian Youth

Ghanaian media personality MC Yaa Yeboah has called on socialite Hajia4Reall to break her silence and openly share her experience with romance fraud and imprisonment, following her recent deportation to Ghana after serving time in the United States.

Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz Yaa Yeboah emphasized that Hajia4Reall, born Mona Faiz Montrage now has a unique opportunity to impact the younger generation by telling her story truthfully and responsibly.

For her return Hajia4Reall should share her experience concerning her romance scam conviction to help educate the youth, Yaa Yeboah said. At one point she was a role model for many young people who looked up to her. Now, she can use this experience to teach others.

Hajia4Reall was sentenced to one year and one day in a U.S. federal prison after pleading guilty to her involvement in a series of online romance scams that targeted older, vulnerable men. She was released on May 22, 2025, and subsequently deported to Ghana.

MC Yaa Yeboah also criticized past claims made by Hajia4Reall particularly her assertion that she started her business empire with just GH¢100. According to Yaa Yeboah recent court findings have disproven this narrative, revealing a mismatch between Hajia4Reall’s reported income and her luxurious lifestyle.

However, the narrative that she started her business with 100 cedis has now been established as untrue,” she said. The only business I knew Hajia4Reall was involved in was a boutique she opened not long ago. If you look at that boutique and compare it to the lifestyle she was living, it just doesn’t align.”

Yaa Yeboah stressed the need for honesty, urging Hajia4Reall to confront the truth and use her ordeal as a turning point to inspire change among the youth.

“I truly believe that this experience is one she can share with the youth to educate them on the importance of finding something meaningful to do while growing up,” she concluded.

Hajia4Reall’s case continues to spark widespread public interest and debate in Ghana, particularly about the influence of social media personalities, the glamorization of luxury lifestyles, and the growing need for accountability and transparency in public figures. As Ghanaians watch her next steps, many, like Yaa Yeboah, hope she will choose the path of truth, reflection, and redemption.
