Kumawood Actor Long Face Expresses Regret Over 10-Year Loyalty to Lilwin

Kumawood actor Samuel Agyei popularly known as Long Face has opened up about his deep disappointment after spending over a decade supporting fellow actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Lilwin without any significant personal or professional gain.

In a recent interview with Ruthy on SeanCity TV, Long Face reflected on his long-standing loyalty to Lilwin and expressed regret that his dedication had not translated into tangible rewards or career advancement.
“I’ve worked with him [Lilwin] for 10 years, yet I haven’t even had the opportunity to travel to Togo, let alone anywhere else. It’s sad, very sad, Long Face lamented.

To emphasize the lack of growth in his own journey, he compared his situation to that of fellow actor Kwame Ahenfie, who after just a few months of working with Appiah Stadium, managed to secure a trip to Germany a milestone Long Face has yet to experience despite his longer tenure in the industry.

This isn’t the first time Long Face has spoken about his struggles in the Kumawood film scene. Not long ago, he revealed that he had battled a mysterious illness which he believed was a result of spiritual attacks from within the entertainment industry. According to him, he collapsed at an event and remained bedridden for a period, seeking traditional healing after hospital treatments failed to help.

His story highlights some of the darker realities faced by actors behind the scenes in Ghana’s film industry, including lack of recognition, spiritual warfare, and career stagnation despite years of hard work and loyalty.

Long Face’s revelation has sparked conversations online, with many calling for better support structures and appreciation for behind-the-scenes actors who play critical roles in the success of top stars.
