King Saha Threatens Legal Action Against TikToker Dr. Cephco Over Defamation Claims
Ugandan musician Mansur Semanda, popularly known as King Saha has threatened to take legal action against TikTok personality Dr. Cephco over allegations of vandalism that recently went viral on social media.
Earlier this week, Dr. Cephco appeared in a widely circulated video in which he accused King Saha and socialite Winnie Wa Mummy of orchestrating an attack that led to the destruction of his car, which was reportedly parked in his compound at the time of the incident.
According to Cephco, the duo allegedly worked with a violent group that scaled his fence and vandalized his vehicle in what he described as a targeted and coordinated act. The video sparked widespread discussions online, drawing both support and skepticism from viewers.
However, in a swift response, King Saha has categorically denied the accusations and, through his legal team at Wamimbi Advocates and Solicitors, served Cephco with a notice of intention to sue for defamation.
In the legal notice, King Saha demands:
• A public apology and full retraction of the defamatory statements
• Compensation of 200 million Ugandan shillings for the reputational and professional damage caused
• Compliance within seven working days, failing which legal proceedings will commence
King Saha’s lawyers described Cephco’s statements as “malicious, baseless, and damaging”, asserting that the musician’s brand and business have suffered as a result of the false claims.
This legal showdown adds a dramatic twist to an already heated social media feud that has gripped Ugandan online audiences. As of now, Dr. Cephco has not issued any public retraction or response to the lawsuit threat.
With the countdown on the seven-day deadline now ticking, fans and observers await to see whether the matter will be resolved amicably or head to court in what could become a landmark defamation case in Uganda’s entertainment circles.
