Ibrahim Denies Diana Asamoah–Opoku Billson Romance Rumour
Ibrahim, the biological first son of renowned Ghanaian gospel musician and actress Diana Asamoah has strongly denied recent social media rumours suggesting that his mother is romantically involved with media personality Opoku Billson.
Speaking in mrwoode.com, Ibrahim described the reports as completely false and baseless. Although he does not currently live with his mother he revealed that he became aware of the trending rumours through social media which has made it easy to stay informed and connected globally.
When I first saw the news I was shocked. I didn’t believe it and honestly I still haven’t called my mother to confirm it because I know it’s not true, he said.
Ibrahim explained that his mother who is known for her strong Christian values and respected public image, would never be involved in such a relationship. He also questioned the credibility of the claim saying Opoku Billson is far too young to be romantically linked with someone of Diana Asamoah’s status and age.
There’s no way my mother would stoop so low. I know the kind of person she is, and she has standards, Ibrahim added.
This comes in response to growing online speculations and photos that have fueled rumours about a possible relationship between Diana Asamoah and Opoku Billson. Some social media users interpreted their interactions as suggestive, but Ibrahim insists that the public should not jump to conclusions based on appearances.
Despite the viral nature of the rumours neither Diana Asamoah nor Opoku Billson has officially addressed the issue. However Ibrahim’s statement seeks to clarify the situation and protect his mother’s reputation from what he believes is a “misleading narrative.
