The final funeral rites of the late Madam Elizabeth Fosu popularly know as Aye De were held on Saturday, 20th September 2026, at Breman Kokoso near Breman Asikuma in the Central Region of Ghana. The event drew a large crowd from various parts of the country, as family, friends, colleagues and sympathizers came together to celebrate the life and legacy of a woman remembered for her warmth, kindness and dedication to her family.
Attendees included representatives from several reputable institutions such as Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Fidelity Bank, Mr Woode Studios, mrwoode.com and the University of Ghana among others. Their presence was a testament to the impact Madam Fosu and her family have made across different sectors of society.

Born in 1965, Madam Elizabeth Fosu lived a fulfilling life until her passing in 2025. She was the beloved wife of Mr. Sebastian Kofi Ocran, a well-known expert in banking and finance in Ghana. Mr. Ocran has worked with many financial institutions over the years including Fidelity Bank. He also served as the Assistant Managing Director of Nationwide Capital Microfinance Limited and was formerly the Head of Operations at Ochemck Consultancy Limited.

The funeral was marked by a spirit of unity, love and solemn reflection as speakers shared touching tributes and fond memories of Madam Fosu. Her legacy continues to live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.
The family expressed their profound gratitude to all who supported them during their time of mourning.
