Elizabeth Agye Mpaebo Turkson: A Voice of Faith, Hope and Transformation

In a world where many chase fame and fortune, Elizabeth Primang Turkson widely known by her ministry name Agye Mpaebo meaning Only Prayers in Twi  stands out as a woman rooted in purpose, faith, and compassion.
Born on May 11 in Ghana, Elizabeth hails from Assin Bereku a peaceful town located near Assin Fosu in Ghana’s Central Region. She grew up as the fourth of nine siblings in a home where Christian values formed the bedrock of everyday life. Raised in a household centered on Christ, she was shaped by discipline, love and an unwavering commitment to prayer.
Though her social interactions were limited during childhood Elizabeth’s deep love for God and the gospel message was evident from a young age. Her passion for ministry took root early becoming the driving force behind the woman she is today.
Elizabeth pursued her academic interests with determination, earning a degree in Banking and Finance from Wisconsin International University College in Accra. While many expected her to follow a conventional career path in finance, Elizabeth felt a deeper calling one that led her to gospel music and ministry.
Fuelled by her love for God, she redirected her life’s mission towards touching lives through music and evangelism. Her songs, especially the widely acclaimed Tete Botan have touched hearts not only in Ghana but also among gospel music lovers internationally.
Beyond music, Elizabeth is a motivational speaker, preacher and the visionary founder of HONI TV one of Ghana’s fast-rising inspirational television networks. The platform was born out of her desire to share messages of hope, faith and divine purpose with people across the globe. Through sermons, interviews and gospel music, HONI TV continues to impact lives and uplift souls.
Recognizing the importance of leadership and people management in ministry and life, Elizabeth later advanced her education in Human Resource Management at Heritage Christian University College, further equipping herself to serve both spiritually and socially.
Elizabeth’s impact extends beyond the pulpit and microphone. She is the founder of a humanitarian NGO dedicated to supporting widows and orphans two vulnerable groups often overlooked. Her organization provides essential support such as food, clothing, vocational training and emotional encouragement. For her, ministry is not just about preaching it’s about practical love in action.
