Afrakoma Says Her Curves Got Her GH¢5K and an Apartment
Ghanaian actress and skit maker Afrakoma has sparked buzz online with a candid revelation about how her body particularly her backside has brought unexpected blessings her way—including cash gifts and even a place to live.
Speaking in a recent interview at the wedding ceremony of fellow actress Diana Asamoah popularly known as Sugar Mommy, Afrakoma opened up about how her curvy figure has attracted admiration, support, and generosity from fans and strangers alike.
The rising actress recalled a moment when a man randomly approached her on the street after recognizing her from a popular skit she featured in with Dr Likee, one of Ghana’s most well-known online comedy creators.
I was just walking on my street when a man stopped me and said he recognised me from a skit and liked my curves. He gave me GH¢5,000 just like that, she said with a laugh.
But the benefits didn’t stop there. Afrakoma also disclosed that her curvy physique helped her secure an apartment—which she currently shares with her boyfriend.
Despite the attention, she insists that she carries herself with dignity and isn’t swayed by temptation.
I am not loose. I respect myself, she stated, adding that while she receives a lot of romantic pressure from admirers, she knows how to set boundaries and maintain her relationship.
Afrakoma attributed her physical features and the resulting blessings to God’s favor noting that many people in her position might not have had shelter or financial assistance if not for their appearance.
There are people like me who if not for their form, would not have had money or even a place to lay their heads, she said.
